Our People

Sue Vowler is the author of the OGC’s P3O® guidance (Portfolio, Programme and Project Office Management), recently published in October 2008. Sue is recognised as one of the UK’s foremost experts in Change Management, including P3O - Programme and Project Offices and Centres of Excellence. She is internationally recognised as a content expert in the Programme and Project Management and Support community, and is often asked to speak at industry events, and sit on industry review boards.

Sue is an APMG accredited PRINCE2® Practitioner and Consultant, a Registered Programme and Project Management Consultant (PPM RC) – one of only a handful worldwide and a P3O Registered Consultant – the only one accredited to date. OGC Gateway™ Review Team Leader (auditing major Government projects), a GAPPS Consultant (Global Alliance for Project Performance Standards) and a Chartered Management Consultant.

PPM RC Consultants are an elite group of Consultants accredited by APM Group to provide formal assessment against OGC and international programme and project management standards.

Sue was an early adopter of the original PRINCE methodology and is a member of the design group for PRINCE2 2009 currently under development for OGC - ensuring that Project Angels fully understand and is able to influence the final 2009 product.

Sue was also a significant contributor to the development of OGC’s MSP® and a significant contributor to its refresh in 2007. Sue was also lead reviewer for the OGC’s new Portfolio Management Guidance. She is a member of the Association for Project Management and qualified to Advanced level in ISEB Programme and Project Support Office (PPSO).

Sue has successfully adapted and implemented structured PRINCE2 methods and processes in a number of commercial business organisations including in the public sector and charities and not for profit organisations. She is known for her pragmatic approach and her ability to gain buy in across all levels in an organisation.

Sue has also successfully trained Senior Executives in a number of organisations in both the private and public sectors and designed an accredited national set of training / coaching briefings for Sponsors / Senior Responsible Owners / Project Directors (programme and project management decision makers) - PPS.

Stephen Edwards is a qualified PRINCE2 Practitioner with a Diploma in Managing Strategic Change (Cranfield University, 1995). Stephen is a highly skilled Consultant and Programme and Project Director with a passion, energy and enthusiasm to deliver exemplary performance to the end customer.

Stephen has been very successful in directing and delivering complex, high profile, £200+ million international programmes from concept to implementation in a number of business sectors.

Stephen is a PRINCE2 Practitioner and has an up to date knowledge of the latest project and programme management thinking with an expert understanding and practical implementation of programme and project governance models, stakeholder management, communications and influencing strategies.

Stephen is fully trained in Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) and an expert in the OGC Gateway Review model. He has extensive experience of designing and implementing large programmes of work, improving portfolio management and projects delivery having successfully completed assignments in a number of commercial and public sector organisations.

Stephen has also been a full-time technical (IT) trainer in a global British company and has successfully trained programme and project management personnel in a number of commercial organisations.

Our Associates

Project Angels currently employs up to eight associates. All are highly-qualified practitioners with whom we have worked successfully and in whom we trust implicitly. All the associates are able to deliver solutions to our clients which meet our very high quality standards.
