Practical P3O® Training

Our training will raise the competencies of individuals or teams, either setting up, running or working within Portfolio, Programme or Project offices (P3O).

Who should attend?

Any member of P3O – Portfolio, Programme or Project Office or individuals working in these structures.

Format

Project Angels believe that the workshop format delivers the best training results. We provide a two day workshop, with day one focused on the design and development of P3Os and day two focused on the practical aspects of operating or working within a P3O. This workshop may be run as a one day event, two one day events or as individual one day events.

1:1 coaching of individuals can also be provided.

Workshop Content

- a one day interactive workshop with inputs of knowledge from the trainer, group discussion and syndicate working.

Day 1

  • Understanding the Business Case for P3O – how to offer value for money services and support and get the investment you need

A final interactive session will examine a key service / functional area, exploring practical examples and ways of working leading to the development of an in-house process supported by templates.

Day 2

If required, the one day overview can be followed by two further half-day sessions (or a single one day session) considering key functions or services and the tools and techniques needed to deliver them.
